Run for your Life Malaysia 2014

Hey guys,
Sorry for the most lazy and late updates but I really can't get myself away from loads of stuff and pressure. I even missed out my Perth trip, Hong Kong Trip, Brunei Trip and Penang Trip but this Kula Lumpur Trip, is a must update from me.

This event was held at Serdang on the 13th of December 2014. ( Not long ago...)
So I took a short trip just for this event. Cause somehow I ave this weird feeling of I won't be able to join again. So I took this chance to do so eventhough I am in short of cash but I'm still going.

So I arrive on Wednesday night(10th December 2014) which loads of accidents happened at 11.30PM. I need to rush for the fastest train but I still missed the LRT. But luckily I was saved by my lady landlord whom I rent a bed from her hostel for few nights.

Btw her hostel is very neat and vintage homey feel. She's very friendly and gladly to bring you around. You should check out her page here...
  Project 【Uchi ・うち・屋企】

I got a cute map postcard from her but I gave it to my friend and I didn't even take a picture of it. DANG~

So ok...
My journey starts. I spend 2 days walking around with Veronica ( my buddy since collage ) and we tried loads of yummy delicacies. These 2 days was splendid.

We spend a lil time walking around the early pasar before we head to Ikea.

 We went to KLCC Aquarium~

 This is at Mid Valley~

And we were able to try Magnum self deco ice cream~

That was the best 2 hangout days I spent with Veron. And we catch up alot of stories we missed for so many years.

So it's the day... 13th of December is finally here~

Like other 2 days I got up and rush to the LRT to meet up with Veron and her BF. We had a very very long journey to Serdang which is a big problem to me cause Jeremy's car tire were replaced due to flat tire accident.

Bumpy ride and we took wrong road and I keep having car sickness from behind with all the heat but we all still manage to arrive.

The stage is AWESOME~

This is the transformation center...which I find it not good enough...
Simply cut your clothes... Not professional enough to do the make up thing. I know its hot, humid and suffocating so I just simply do my own shirt cutting while the girls just simply splash red and yellow liquid on me...

We look more like a bunch of sick coloured rotten corpse... (=__ =lll)

This sticky sponge doesn't feel good at all... It itches my skin~

Met some UK babes... Their mask was one of the best~

Here's the zombie bride winner... I just love how this 2 reacted on the stage... It's a good thing they won the 1st place~

I am INFECTED~

Guess what... I met Captain Jack Sparrow zombie~

This is the part where we all are waiting for the party to begin~

Well all this pictures is not enough to tell the fun stuffs I had on this day so I made a video. It's just below here in this post. If you wanna watch it from Youtube... Here's the link~

Penang Trip 27-29 December 2013

At last, another update about my trip to Penang. Well I know everyone travels alot to Penang but it was my FIRST TIME being there especially venturing around Georgetown. So I am excited about this trip.

This is my flight meal...so-so only the taste but the plain rice is good.

Finally arrive~

I didn't continue to take picture cause when we arrive we immediately start work so it was a very interesting and tiring day but I had fun at the garden wedding. It was awesome.

So we sent back at evening to search for food.. Our lovely tour guide Ms. Jane became our driver and brought us around and she brought us to a food stall. Really lots of choices but I wasn't feeling well that night so I ordered something light to eat.

From the left side is my seaweed soup base glass noodle and the right side picture is sotong bakar (fried squid)~

Ever since I ate the seaweed soup with glass noodle, I have fallen in love with it. I know it is a very easy ingredient and simple taste but I still love it. Haha...

And here is Ms Jane here. She's very friendly and also a food lover. When it comes to food, me and her will just keep on going about it. Haha~

The next day was the actual day for Paul and Jeannie, so it has been a very busy day. After the dinner reception finish, I manage to snap some shots. Not much but the theme is very good.

So the next day we hang out with Paul's family to have lunch. They are all nice people to hang around. Too bad I was sick being attack by migraine.

This is the well-known Lobak. I love it...Gonna eat it again when I get to Penang again. Hehe~

It was a luxurious meal for me eating with a bunch of wonderful people~

After our lunch, Paul wanted to give us a tour to his camera museum ( he's one of the founder ) and here are some snaps I managed to get.

Btw guys, I wont show too much of the snaps I got in this museum. But I encourage you guys to go and see and venture around. It is way alot better than seeing my pictures. You can get more information there and know more about cameras.

Here's the main entrance~

And this is Paul, our Mr. Nice Guy who volunteer to give us a great tour.

Cute kids camera~  XD

This is a very cool camera which were designed based on Princess Diana...the rest of the detail I forgot already ( I have a very bad and short term of memory) TwT

This cameras were designed with a real snake skin...Cool~

This are one of the display which visitors can touch it and have a closer look.

Now this is a very special room for the cameras. It is a spy room with loads of spy cameras and also a camera that used for war.

Well I had fun in this dark room. The atmosphere were totally awesome~

So after we are done with the visiting, I came across a wall stone with cameras and phones attached on it.

The words on it was really inspiring~

And here are the cafeteria so after the visit, it would be great to chill out here and the cakes seems yummy. ( I didn't manage to sit n shill cause we need to rush our time to try something else )

The museum really mesmerize me alot and of course, I wouldn't just go home empty handed. So I grab a lil bit of gift for myself.

Fridge magnet~

Enjoying myself with the props they have~

After you pay the entrance fee, this is the pass you will get~

After the visit, Paul brought us around to see the famous street arts. I saw alot of wonderful artworks but didn't manage snap~

So I only able to snap a lil bit and there is this one famous street cat art. If you love adventure and art hunting, go for this cat art. I saw 6 cats but I only manage to snap 5 only. It was great and fun plus the drawings are cute and lovely. ( Gonna plan to have another visit to Penang in the future~ ^^)

After the street visit, it is local food time~
Paul brought us to a famous local food stall which only serves....Chao Kue Tyeo

This aunty here, really is a very patient person...she won't stuff the whole thing into the wok but plate per plate. So that the customers can eat the food with a very satisfying taste. Paul mentioned to us that sometimes this aunty would wear a goggle to cook. Cool~

Here are my lovely local food, , the left side is the famous ais kacang ABC, middle is the famous Chao Kue Tyeo and Cold Coconut from right~

The shop name is Cafe Heng Huat ~ ^^

And so after all the visiting, it is time for me to leave Penang. Paul sent us all to the airport to say goodbye to us all. He is really indeed a sentimental and friendly guy. Haha.

Wish you luck Paul and Happy Wedding to you and Jeannie eventhough this post is quite late also also the wishing.
